If people are linking up before the festival in New York this weekend, where are good brunch spots for a group? Somewhere lively, easy enough for a mixed crowd, and not too far from the event route.

Keep it simple and choose somewhere that can take a group without too much attitude. The best pre-festival brunch is usually the one that gets everybody fed and moving on time.

Helpful

If people are traveling from different boroughs, pick a place close to the route rather than the 'best' brunch itself. Coordination matters more than hype on festival days.

I would rather do coffee and light food before, then a proper meal after. Big brunch right before a long day outside can slow the whole group down.

Weekend threads get much better once somebody names a real plan. If people are meeting, pick a simple link-up spot before everybody scatters across boroughs and put the time in the thread so solo attendees know the plan is real.

If you want the thread to turn into real attendance, post the easiest version of the plan first. People join clear plans faster than perfect plans.
